DMCA Copyright Policy

The Originality Research Lab respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (“DMCA”), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using the Service.

1. Reporting Copyright Infringements

If you are a copyright owner, or are authorized to act on behalf of one, or authorized to act under any exclusive right under copyright, please report alleged copyright infringements taking place on or through the Site by completing the following DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement and delivering it to our Designated Copyright Agent.

Required Information for Notice

  • Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
  • Identification of the material that you claim is infringing (including the URL or specific location on the site).
  • Your contact information: Mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

3. Counter-Notice Procedures

If you believe that material you posted on the site was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us.

A counter-notice must include your contact information, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake, and consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, Originality Research Lab has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also at our sole discretion limit access to the Service for any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others.
